No matter where you are along your flight path — our flight school provides you with mentorship and guidance from experts in the field of aviation. But more than that, TakeWING is a group of diverse, easy-going people from all walks of life who participate in aviation. Can I Check You Out First Before Joining?
Absolutely. First be our guest — visit us on-site. If you are new to aviation take a first flight (FirstStep™) lesson. If you are already a pilot, go up with one of our instructors to test-fly both our aircraft and our service. And feel free to take our on-line New Member Orientation course to get a peek at how we operate.
How Do I Join TakeWING?
After you complete our club application and pay a small application fee (non-refundable), and your first two months club dues (refundable). We will provide you with an orientation to the club.

Members like our aircraft options! From the best in well-made Cessna aircraft to zippy light sport aircraft and even a vintage Aeronca Champ (tailwheel), we give you choices. All are well maintained and members find reserving both aircraft and instructors easy with our on-line, 24/7 Internet scheduling system.
Anytime (24/7) Access to Club Facilities
What’s worse — making your passengers sit in the car while you preflight or being an early bird flyer and finding the airport office locked? Not to worry, Tarmac or Runway members receive privileged anytime access to the facilities. Let your family or passengers relax and partake of our hospitality center (free soda, water, and snacks) while you plan your flight, preflight, or just hang out for a relaxing airport day. We also provide complimentary passenger headsets and handheld GPS units as part of your club benefits!
Events — Safety Meetings, Lectures, and “Carburetor” Coffee
Never a dull moment here! We have weekly, monthly, and quarterly aviation safety training sessions as well as other FUN social gatherings — and by the way, continuing education helps create better and safer pilots. Besides mandatory quarterly safety meetings, there are various summer flying challenges, a summer BBQ, Saturday morning “carburetor coffee” sessions — creating an atmosphere for both learning and social conviviality. It’s all part of our tenets to “care for” and “protect” you.
Family Members Included in Membership
Family members come to safety meetings and social gatherings. We also provide complimentary right-seat companion seminars and introductory flights to partners and spouses of our pilot members.

This is what sets our premier Runway membership apart from our other membership levels. After you’ve owned an aircraft for a while the newness of doing all the “little” things like washing and cleaning, arranging for oil changes, timely updates of GPS systems, and so many other aircraft ownership chores start becoming little annoyances rather than part of the fun. That’s where we can help. Becoming a Runway member lets you take advantage of TakeWING’s aircraft asset management services, which include:
Concierge services — scheduled washing and cleaning of your aircraft and tracking and timely reminders of your aircraft’s time critical or periodic maintenance requirements.
Internet-based aircraft scheduling system — For co-owners and aircraft partnerships keeping track of who has the airplane on what day or weekend seems easy at first but life happens fast and quickly rearranging schedules or just getting the word out on the latest squawk can lead to frayed relationships or costly mistakes. We make it easy. By providing you with aircraft scheduling and reporting services, we enable you and your partners to schedule your aircraft from any internet-connected computer or Blackberry, post squawks, see maintenance issues immediately, and track aircraft servicing.
Marketing (leaseback) management services — If you own an aircraft or are considering ownership, you should consider getting the most out of your asset by renting it out to club members. Your aircraft can be working for you when you aren’t using it. Marketing management (previously called leaseback) gives you this opportunity. If you know our weather and the local flight conditions, then you know it can be low fog and mist at KEUG while bright and sunny at Creswell or vice versa. Our Creswell streaming video WebCam lets you see the runway north and south far better than a PIREP and much quicker than driving out for a look.

Mentoring
All TakeWING members are mentors in one way or another to each other but each TakeWING pilot in training is assigned a 
club mentor to answer questions and to help keep your sprits up if the weather is down or you just hit a learning plateau!
