TakeWING: Flight Training and Aircraft Rental

TakeWING is the pilot training and aircraft rental division of Flying D Enterprises, LLC. We are a premium flight training school offering both students and rated pilots aircraft rentals through an active flying club membership.

TakeWING is owned and operating by Dorothy Schick, a Master Certificated Flight Instructor, at the Creswell Airport (Hobby Field) Creswell, Oregon (77S), since 1994. The flying club's members are a diverse, unique, and fun-loving group of men and women (and a dog and cat), who share a love of flying and learning. You do not need to become a member to take a first flight lesson, receive a flight review, or take one of our specialized training courses and seminars. Our members are provided with the latest conveniences, including on-line aircraft scheduling, IFR computer-aided simulator training, a library of training software, CDs, complimentary passenger headsets, and hand-held GPS rental.

Our aircraft include an IFR C-182, a VFR C-172, and an Aeronca Champ (Light Sport Aircraft). TakeWING is an FAA-designated LaserGrade knowledge-testing center.
